If you've never received money from the Windows Marketplace for Mobile then Microsoft hasn't yet validated the checking account information that you've entered. The final validation for this is in the form of Microft making it's attempt to deposit funds from your sales. At this point I've sold enough to go past the minimum 200 USD limit and should be getting a check with this month's deposits. Now when I log into my account I see the following.
From the way it is presented one would think that there is something wrong. But this is just Microsoft's way of saying Hey, we've never deposited money in your account before, but we plan to make our first attempt to do so soon!
The way this information is presented will forever strike me as odd. I associate the color red and the letter 'X' with problems. But so long as I know what it means it isn't a problem.
